Complete set of lowering links for 2012-20 17 Mercedes Benz G L X 166. Our new version 2 links feature extra corrosion protection for those harsh environments. They also come color coded for easier identification of front and rear links. From the factory, the Mercedes Benz G L comes equipped with an air ride suspension. This system utilizes four sensors (one at each corner) to control the ride height of the vehicle.

This is accomplished by the use of a small linkage which connects the sensor to the suspension. As the car is raised or lowered, the linkage moves the sensor up or down sending a signal to the computer telling it how high the car is. By replacing the fixed linkage with one of adjustable design, such as ours, you can change the output of the sensor making the computer believe that the car is higher than it actually is. The computer will then respond by lowering the vehicle.

The simplicity of our setup is that it maintains all the functionality of the factory system. The ABC Sport button and the ride height button work exactly the same as they did before swapping the links. Our links are fully Zinc platted for corrosion resistance and come with rubber seals to keep dirt and road grime from getting into the ball joints.

They are fully adjustable so that any ride height is achievable. This makes matching left and right heights possible. Since our links don't require any permanent modifications to the car, the installation is fully reversible, allowing the owner to reinstall the factory links at any time. We constantly testing and improving the quality of our product. Cheaper than an electronic module and requires no cutting of the wiring harness. Install time around one hour. Will not alter the ride quality, unless lowered to the extreme limit of the system. Lowering of any vehicle requires an alignment. Kit requires only simple tools to install.
